The restoration of Vaughn Library Hall will take a lot of time and will cost a lot of money to do it correctly.
How can you help? You can make a financial contribution and/or you can volunteer your time!
Volunteer to help restore the Hall
Volunteers are wanted! While we are using contractors for select tasks we are also using our team of volunteers to do a lot of the work. This saves us precious funds without compromising the restoration’s quality.
Do you enjoy helping? If so, we have a project for you! Do you have any construction experience? Or do you just want to help as best you can?
If so, please call one of our two project managers:
-
Paul Michaels: 253-884-6180
-
Bart Wolfe: 253-884-3276
Make a financial contribution to restore Vaughn Library Hall
Please consider making a financial contribution to help restore the Hall! It’s going to take a lot of dedicated individuals to see this through.
Grant funding is helping this project but it will not be enough. We continue to apply for grant funding but there is no guarantee when, or if, we might get one. There are a number of public and private providers of grants for historic preservation but there is a lot of competition for these funds.
So please consider making a donation. Any size donation will help. You decide. However, we have some suggested levels to consider:
-
Level 1: $50 – $99 = Front door level
-
Level 2: $100 – $499 = Dance Hall Level
-
Level 3: $500 – $999 = Stage Level
-
Level 4: $1,000 – $4,999 = Library Level
-
Level 5: $5,000 and up = Tower level

And you will be thanked!

All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law
-
All volunteers’ names and donors’ names will be displayed proudly at the hall unless you choose to remain anonymous
